Photos from iPhone that haven’t been backed up to iCloud with broken motherboard

PLEASE Please can someone help me I am desperate, my phone turned off and won’t turn on properly just shows the charging symbol but when I charge it nothing happens my friend took a look at it as he works in a tech shop and he said it’s the motherboard but Ive logged onto my iCloud to retrieve the photos and nothing has been backed up even though a week before this happened I bought more storage and backed up my phone which said it was complete but now the phone won’t turn back on and my iCloud account is showing none of the pics/vids and every single picture since my son was born til now 5 months of photos and videos since will be gone I can’t loose them memories I will be unbelievably heartbroken please can someone tell me how to retrieve the pics in anyway I can

Are you aware that there is a difference between iCloud Photos and iCloud Backup?


You can log into www.icloud.com and go to the Photos app there to view iCloud Photos. Those photos can be viewed, downloaded and will also sync to a new device or other device where iCloud Photos is turned on. See: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support


If you didn't have iCloud Photos turned on, but did do an iCloud Backup, the photos would normally be included in the backup unless you specifically exclude them. You cannot view them at iCloud.com. You can only use the backup to do a full restore of a device or to set up a new device. See: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
