Disable "do not disturb" on/off banner

Every time I use an app that has auto do-not-disturb turned on (like my meditation app) I get a banner telling me it's turned on or off EVERY TIME. This is super annoying as it covers up clickable areas at the top of the screen and you either have to wait for it to disappear or swipe up/click to close it. Not user friendly at all.

Why is there no way to turn this off? It's just a total pain in the butt and not necessary, I know when I've turned DND on or off, no need for an intrusive banner to tell me and get in the way of actually using the app right away.

Hi, and welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.

You might want to check whether you can change the notifications banner's settings, or change the alert's style:

(Sorry there is no iPhone handy here to check it out for you at the moment, and we do not know which iOS version you are using.)

All the best :-)
