I am unable to backup my ipad mini on pc, the "Back up now" option is grey (unable to click). I have the latest version of itunes, rebooted my computer & ipad, etc.

Thanks so much. I figured it out, the Itunes Helper was not starting / started.
Once I fixed that everything worked.
