can I use a fire stick on a MacBook pro

Nor directly. The HDMI port on Macs is not an input port. Only output.


You would need a video capture device and its associated software to view and capture the video stream from the fire stick onto the Mac.


With that said, why? Most things on a Fire Stick can already be accessed on a Mac directly, either via an App or a website.


The Fire Stick is designed to let a TV that has no access to the internet directly, access these content providers and streaming services that computers can already access.
