iPhone Snapchat block

Hi. I’ve recently been logged out of Snapchat on my iPhone and the app is denying me access through this phone. I cannot login to my account or anyone else’s on my particular iPhone. However on multiple other iPhone devices I am able to login to my account. So it is not my Snapchat account that has been locked it’s an issue with my phone which is denying my device access. Can you please tell me why this is happening and how to fix it. I have been in touch with Snapchat but as it’s not my account that is blocked they can’t assist with me as this is an iPhone error.

It is not an issue with the phone. The phone is not denying you access.

Snapchat have banned that device, permanently, from using their service due to violations of their terms of service.

There is nothing anyone other than Snapchat can do to reverse that, and historically, it’s proven nearly impossible to get them to reverse the ban.

Hi tamzin67,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! If a specific app on your device is not allowing you to log in, you may need to continue working with the developer of the app, as they will be the experts for their app. We would also recommend the additional steps listed on the article below that can help:

If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4. Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
