Recently my MacBook started having a scrolling issue when I am online. I thought it was just when using the web version of AOL. But I do see it on other sites as well, not all.
It is that when I try to scroll, nothing happens until a few moments later. Sometimes several seconds.
Once again, this is a recent development.
Any ideas about what cases this or how to stop it?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
