It is not possible to boost the volume further than its maximum when you turn the volume buttons all the way up.
We can’t hear the sound on our iPhones, it is very, very Low and very difficult to hear without pressing it on my ear while listening to any thing!!!!
I can’t lay it down on my desktop to write
notes on the discussion, because I can’t hear anything at all.
Apple.com, How do you expect me to accomplish anything with this iPhone??

If the sound is low during a call, remember to use the Volume Button up on the side of your iPhone. You can also use the Speaker function. This can be activated during a call.
If you have tried all of this, it could indicate that the speaker in your iPhone is defective. In that case, contact an authorized Apple repairer and have them check it.
