Macbook pro 2019 16 inch boot loop after Erase All Content and Settings

Hello,

I have been stuck with a boot loop problem for a couple of days now. I tried to erase all content and settings, and when the machine restarted, it froze. Therefore, I forced powered down the computer by holding the power button for multiple seconds.

Since then, I cannot do the following:

  1. Enter recovery mode. It reboots after the apple logo. I am using the mac's keyboard, and all the keys were functioning before.
  2. Enter the safe mode.
  3. Reinstall the ventura os through bootable usb. I am selecting the usb installer and it restarts.

Even if I enter the online recovery mode, I manage to select the wireless network, spend some time to start the process and then restart.

I have tried to boot from time machine, no luck. I removed the device from the icloud, still no luck.

Any chance that someone knows how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

It does not sound like you have admin control...

If this machine is still bound to Enterprise, JAMF, MDM, active directory list (?) or some such

you will have to talk to the old company IT department in an effort to de-provision the machine.

short of that you can try —

Revive or restore an Intel-based Mac using Apple Configurator - Apple Support

but I would not hold my breath this work around will succeed...

report back your success or failure.

And why was the "Erase All Content and Settings" needed in the first place...was there an issue?
