Blue trackpad

How do I purchase a blue track pad after already buying the imac without one.

Looking for a white or green trackpad Just installed my first Mac after decades of Windows machines. In ordering my new iMac24 green I didn't order the trackpad. I found the trackpad on my Windows laptop to be useless. But after 2 days of using a MacBook Pro, I came to prefer what a good trackpad can do. So I wanted to order a trackpad to match the iMac and accessories, including cables. But Apple has a Henry Ford approach: I can buy a trackpad in any color as long as it's black. Is there a supplier anywhere who might sell used trackpads? White would be acceptable, but black spoils that iMac look on which Apple spent so much effort and money.

Magic Trackpad 2 vs newer black model I have a white Magic Trackpad 2 that came with my previous iMac. Apple still sells those for $129, but there's a newer Magic Trackpad that only comes in black for $149. Is there anything that was improved in the new black model that should make me consider buying one? My white one will occasionally disconnect from my new Mac mini, but I think that's just a common theme of all trackpads. Otherwise, it works fine.

I have seen some other posts where some were able to buy one by contacting Apple Support.
