Facetime works, but iMessage doesn't

I'm trying to send messages to people on my Mac, but when I try, even though they have iMessage, they don't get it and it says that the message is not delivered. I think the problem has to do with syncing with iCloud, which I'm not able to do.

Unable to access FaceTime and iMessage on Mac I have MacBook with macOS 15.3 when I try to open FaceTime or message, it asks mail and password. But when I enter credentials, app is loading endlessly. On my iPhone everything is ok with the same account. I tried to reboot Mac and Crete a new local user but with the same result. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Also, I'm not interested in buying an iPhone at the moment, so I'm stuck with a Mac.
