Voice Recorder

When I save an audio file using voice recorder it says it was saved to iTunes. The only iTunes on my phone is iTunes Store. How do I find the files? Using the free version of voice recorder that was on the phone.

On the phone the recordings will be saved in the Voice Memos app. When you sync the phone to your computer they will be saved to iTunes in Windows or the Voice Memos app on a Mac.

If you use Apple's Voice Memo app on your iPhone, your recordings are saved in the app so you can play them or share them. At the same time, your audio recordings are also saved in iCloud if you have chosen to activate this.

You can see what is stored in iCloud here:

You're welcome. If you use Mac, iPad and Voice Memo in iCloud is activated - then you will be able to see your voice memos that you have recorded on your iPhone, on your other devices. They sync completely automatically.

If you want to share an audio file from Voice Memo by email, do the following:

1. Open the Voice Memo app.

2. Find the audio file you would like to send

3. Press the "More Button" (round button with 3 dots)

4. Select Share

5. Choose which app you want to share from, in your case you choose your Mail app.
