Be aware that a basic capacitive stylus offers no more capability or function than a fingertip - although for fine-tipped examples may offer slightly greater touch-precision.


The are alternatives to Apple Pencil - namely the Logitech Crayon and the Zagg Pro Stylus:

While fully compatible with iPad models that support Apple Pencil, these cheaper alternatives do not offer pressure sensitivity - this feature being exclusive to Apple Pencil.
