Be aware that a basic capacitive stylus offers no more capability or function than a fingertip - although for fine-tipped examples may offer slightly greater touch-precision.

The are alternatives to Apple Pencil - namely the Logitech Crayon and the Zagg Pro Stylus:

While fully compatible with iPad models that support Apple Pencil, these cheaper alternatives do not offer pressure sensitivity - this feature being exclusive to Apple Pencil.

Thank you! We have the correct Apple Pencil, I just thought a stylus would help keep the screen cleaner, but it’s good to know my finger works just as well. Another reason I wanted one is that I have Reynaud’s )(sp?) and my fingers go cold and then numb. Thank you for your reply.
