screentime not using passcode
I have a MacBooK pro from 2017 with macOS Catalina installed on it. I usually rely on the screentime feature to control how much I use certain apps which can be a real sink to my time, and to avoid the temptation of extending my time I have a screen-time passcode that I don't memorise, but write on a piece of paper in a safe place in case I have the need for it. It works really well for me cos when I get depressed I have a tendency to overuse some apps, but recently (I noticed coinciding with the release of macOS Ventura) the screentime passcode isn't working. It is still enabled but when I run out of screentime it simply shows me the ignore limit option and allows me to extend my time without needing to put in the passcode. I suspect this is because of Ventura being released and Catalina being out of date, but I don't have enough storage to download a newer system software. Is Ventura's release a likely candidate for the issue? If not, does anyone know what it could be? and either way is there a work around that could re-enable the screentime passcode feature to work as normal? I've attached screenshot's incase there's anything wrong with the way its set up. In dummy terms please! Thanks x
