bluetooth between iPhone and MacBook

Hi All Apple Users

I have a 2020 MacBook Pro on Ventura 13.1 also I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 16.3.1

The issue is that I have a iPad Pro 12.9" on 16.3.1 and when I copy from my iPhone it will paste to my iPad but will not from my pad or my iPhone to my MacBook. hope this makes sense.

So I have tried to link the iPhone via bluetooth to the MacBook but fails..

The question is can an iPhone or a iPad copy or paste to an MacBook?????????

ok all ive managed to copy and paste to and from either device. next question why can't they connect via BT?

I have no real need but ive noticed that they can't.. very odd. so I'm going to ask you lot of Apple boffins to explain.
