AirPods Pro won't pair or reset

Case and pods fully charged...amber or white light never comes on. Holding setup button does nothing...green light simply turns off after a few seconds.

Have cleaned both airpods and charging tabs inside case. AirPods now unpaired from all devices so no way to view "vitals."

Any ideas?
