Recent iOS zero day exploited and iOS 15.

Hi,

Apple has issued security patch 16.3.1 to address zero day vulnerability exploited in the wild (About the security content of iOS 16.3.1 and iPadOS 16.3.1 - Apple Support). Is iOS 15 affected by these vulnerabilities? I use iPhone SE 1st gen at work (BYOD) and was requested to upgrade my hardware because the phone cannot be upgraded to 16.3.1.

Hello GracjanJ,

Keeping your iPhone up to date, regardless of the age of it, is important as any security issues will be addressed in an iOS update. Even if you have an older iPhone, if it is at risk, Apple will release an additional security patch for it. If your iPhone SE shows as being fully up to date, then you should be fine.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.
