Can Mba m2 handle html, css and java well?

Right now i have a macbook pro early 2015 and want something new. Cant decide if i should go for a new macbook pro or macbook air m2. I feel that mbp might be to much power then i will use. But will mba m2 be to low? I am currently coding in html and css. And probably java further down the line. Will mba m2 handle that? Dont know anything about java, does it need allot of power? Other then that i pay my bills, surf the web and watch movies.

No problem. I do that on an M1 MacBook Air so an M2 should have no problem.

The only caveat may be the design environment that you use and you should verify that it will work on Apple silicon. If not, you may need a different design environment. If you are simply using text editors, there is definitely not going to be an issue.

FWIW, I use Vista Studio Code and it works fine.

Personally, I would avoid JAVA and start learning Javascript (the two are not related). Javascript is supported on all web browsers and the end user does not have to install any run time package like you need to do with JAVA.
