Can the AirPods Pro 2 have a copyright date of 2023?

I'm buying a pair online and the box has a 2023 copyright. I haven't seen this before so I'm wondering if I should be suspicious.

We are 3 months into 2023 so this could just be a new box. If you have any concerns about genuine Apple product, the key test step 1 is whether it pairs and works correctly with your iPhone. Step2 is to find the electronic serial number (look in Settings/ Bluetooth, find the entry for your AirPods), compare with the box label, and then put the serial number into the coverage checker (link) Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
