Your battery may be degraded, and if much strain is placed on the battery it will shut down to avoid damage to the iPhone.
What does battery health sat about your battery in Settings ➜ Battery ➜ Battery Health?
If it is at less than 80%, it requires replacement, as it's beyond its functional lifespan.
