Fb messenger won’t load messages

Hey, have a Mac mini, OS X 10.9.5

Trying to figure out why fb messenger won’t load messages. It’s just blank and can’t send messages. I’ve never worked on Mac before it’s my folks Mac mini Any help would be great

Messages Not Working 2017 MacBook Pro Ventura 13.6.6 Messages refuses to load. App stops responding, cannot open messages, check or reply to anything on 2017 MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.6.6. It works on my iPad, iPhone, and older iMac desktop at work, but my personal laptop is refusing to launch the app. I keep reporting it when force quitting, and restarting does not fix the issue. Not using any third party apps or anything. Simply trying to get messages to work properly again. Anyone have a fix for this?

iMessage no longer works after Mac OS 13.2 update iMessage is no longer working properly after the recent Ventura 13.2 update. It's chosen a message to highlight, and when trying to select a different message, it will either pin that one to the top, or attempt to move it off the screen. Moving the arrows up and down doesn't help either.

D.I. Can you please upload such dmg file to WeTransfer or something? I don't have Time Machine, so I cannot recover previous version :(

The Apple Store still shows version 184. How did you get Version 185?

I let the installed version do a check for updates and that's what was offered.

Same happens with messenger through a browser (Safari/Brave). I have this problem on my 16'' MBP/2021, but not on my 13'' MBP/2017 running on the same exact OS.
