Home App iCloud Camera Recording Options

Why does it seem like I get all these bugs nobody else experiences. 😜


I added an HSV Aqara camera and after adding it to the Home app, a dialog box popped up (see photo) that I went through and chose options and the dialog box went away. However, after closing the Home app, it comes back again and again…

It looks like you have multiple cameras. In the past, when I've set up cameras for the first time I've received this message for each camera in the Home app. This includes cameras that were already added. It's a pain and seems like it may be either a bug or an oversight.


I'd recommend dismissing each time for the number of cameras you have. If the issue continues after this, please let us know so we can look at other options.


If this "solution" works, you may want to consider reporting the issue to Apple.

I also have some HSV-supported devices and they did not affect the pop-up.


I know dismissing it isn't the best solution, It's just worked for me after a few times. One other thing you may want to check is that all of your devices (including HomePods and Apple TVs) are running the latest OS.
