How can I enable dictation withouth sharing to Apple?
I wanted to turn on dictation but I am not given an option to share or not share. The instructions say:
"If you’re asked if you want to improve Siri and Dictation, do one of the following:
- Share audio recordings: Click
- Share Audio Recordings to allow Apple to store audio of your Siri and
- Dictation interactions from your Mac. Apple may review a sample of
- stored audio.
- Don’t share audio recordings: Click Not Now."
Why am I not given the option to not share audio recordings. I'm on M1 chip Mac Book Air, running Big Sur 11.2.3
"Improve Siri & Dication" is turned off in my Security & Privacy settings.
I also don't have an option to enable offline dictation. Why? Is it just a feature of certain operating systems?
