Camera would usually require more power to operate, I would first check the battery health status following steps outlined in this article Check the iPhone battery health and usage - Apple Support (AE)


If it's lower than 80% it indicates that the battery needs to be serviced (replaced). Only replace the battery at any apple authorized service provider or Apple store.


Also check Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple for tips on how to maximize the battery performance.
