Macbook Pro Track Pad too big causing typing errors and more

Is there a way to limit the Track Pad area?

Tried Karabiner-Elements with Karabiner-Multitouchextension as suggested by other users her on Community forum but it doesn't seems to work.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.5

You can always use an external keyboard and trackpad as a work-a-round if you have a on-going issue

Thank you. I'm getting mad with mine 16". Really.
Up to a point I was going back to the old intel one...
In the first 2 months I thought was just an habit that need to be changed.
But after 4 months of using this macbook pro I can say this is a design flaw.

IMHO Apple should address it for people like me with a dedicated settings inside Sys. Prefs.

I will say yours is not the first report I have read.

Yep followed that doc and tried different settings...not working.
Have you used it?

Well it's a notebook, feels weird to go around with a full sized keyboard.
Never had any problem in the last 15 years with any macbook pro....

No, never used it.
