several keys do not work and the enter key either repeats a key or brings up a dialog selection. Tried forgetting device, re-pairing etc. This is is the 3rd keyboard I've tried. Similar results
verify that you have selected the language/keyboard layout that matches your keyboard - instead of using Auto settings:
Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard

Go to the accessibility settings and make sure Full Keyboard Access is turned OFF
