I am getting overwhelmed with junk email on my icloud account recently. I thought apple would be better at blocking spam. A lot are from shifting addresses at the same domain. How do I block domains?

Spammers are businesses, and a key part of their business success is bypassing filters.
This means using Bayesian filtering and marking spam as junk, and (if a Mac is available) potentially using add-on tools such as SpamSieve.
It is sometimes (briefly) possible to use rules to detect certain strings in messages, but the spammers will vary that, too.
The article does not address spam emails from a domain that uses random numbers/letters so there is no way to block every address they use. The latest is from something like 78392savethekoala.com which sends hundreds per day (changing the numbers) filling up junk and trash. This causes a LOT of wasted time having to go through so much spam since some valid emails do slip through and end up in junk or trash.
I need to be able to block entire domains as well as use wildcard characters to block addresses.
I never had this problem until about January and have used iphones for as long as they have been out.
