Why will my apple watch only show my temperature after sleep but not under basal body temperature?

I have followed all the instructions I can find online, I have worn my apple watch to sleep for almost three months. Yet, my watch still does not track my basal body temperature and gift ovulation advise. When I check it only has body temperature but not basal. They are in two separate areas on the app.

I have contacted the text support through apple and did not get any answer.

Is it my watch? Is it faulty?

Apple Watch can only measure wrist tempersture. Whether or not that is accurate enough to use as basal temperature for ovulation prediction is beyond the knowledge of most contributors
