How do I know if I am operating at “Peak Performance Capability”?

Previously the “Peak Performance Capability” section in Battery Health would tell you if you were operating at peak capability or reduced capability. The new message “Built-in dynamic software and hardware systems will help counter performance impacts that may be noticed as your iPhone battery chemically ages.” now in this section is vague and inconclusive. How do I know if I am operating at Peak Performance Capacity or if my battery needs replacing? Does this new message ever change to indicate one way or another?

This message means that the system is dynamically monitoring different variables to deliver peak performance to your iPhone.

in order to know if your battery needs replacement or not, you can check battery health, by going to settings>battery>battery health and charging

Generally if it's not lower than 80% and you don't see a service battery message, then your battery doesn't need replacement.

I read the first article you posted and it makes no mention of what the Battery Health & Charging section in Settings will say if performance is affected, everything I read directs me to that page but Battery Health & Charging no longer provides any conclusive information as to the health of the battery other than Maximum Capacity. Previously Peak Performance Capability would say whether peak performance was currently impaired or not. Does the message “Built-in dynamic software and hardware systems will help counter performance impacts that may be noticed as your iPhone battery chemically ages.” ever change to something else as it used to?
