Dim date & time

181270 ~ Are you referring to the Lock Screen rather than the Home Screen? ...If so, see:

Personalize your iPhone Lock Screen - Apple Support

Under the instructions there for Edit a Lock Screen, there's this:

"...Change the style of the time: Tap Customize, tap the time."

Then, at the bottom of the Lock Screen, tap on the right-hand circle to brighten the date & time:

Hi 181270. I cannot quite understand your question. First of all, which iPhone do you have and what is its iOS? If you are looking to change the brightness of your iPhone’s display, you will want to select Settings > Display & Brightness. From there, you can adjust the brightness manually or choose to have Apple do it automatically. If this is not helpful, then please read thru the article below and come back with more details.
