iPad Screen Extender for Monitor

I have an iPad air 5 64gb with the latest version and I cannot activate the stage manager on the monitor, it only mirrors the screen and the function to disable mirroring does not appear since it has the M1 chip

ps. I have already been told to try to activate with the mouse and keyboard connected, however, I did that and the function to disable mirroring still does not appear.
