Normally when messages are sent from an android it will show sent then delivered. Why does it show as sent and not delivered yet the person is responding so they are getting the messages. Is this because they are on another call or something?

Try to turn off the iMessage and then turn it back on, and Restart your iPhone , also make sure that your iPhone is up to date ☞ Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Sent FROM an Android? That might just be how the Android software is set up...
