Cannot enable iCloud Drive on Windows 11
I've installed iCloud from MS Store on two Windows 11 Pro computers, both up-to-date on patching and iCloud versions. My Win11 desktop PC synchs to iCloud perfectly, but when I login with roaming profile on my Win11 laptop PC, I cannot enable iCloud drive in the settings panel. iCloud photos synch fine on the laptop, but every time I try to enable the checkbox for iCloud Drive on the laptop and hit ok, the checkbox becomes unselected a second later with no error messages or explanation. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I've tried the following to no avail:
- Uninstalling/re-installing iCloud from MS Store, resetting iCloud App.
- Resetting the Win11 image to a fresh install on the laptop, then re-installing iCloud.
- Logging out then back in to iCloud from the laptop.
- Temporarily disabling MS Security, clicking to enable iCloud, and failing.
- Taking ownership of C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\AppleInc.iCloud_14.1.108.0...
- Adding iCloudDrive.exe to MS Security safe list.
I've noticed some of the iCloud services seem to get disabled-at-startup. I've enabled them manually, but they keep getting disabled. I've also seen access denied messages to directories associated with ICloud apps in C:\Program Files\Apps.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there an easy way to fix? Any suggestions are welcomed!
