External Monitor takes a long time to sync

Similar to External Monitor takes a long time to sync - Apple Community my external LG 27UD88-W monitor takes a long time to sync with my 16" MacBookPro with a MD Radeon Pro 5500M and Intel UHD Graphics 630 card. They are connected via USB-C Thunderbolt, so there is no converter in between. The displays are changing settings seemingly random until they at some time appear to have agreed on a setting.

I am running MacOS 13.1 and use the 3840x2160 resolution of the 27" LG screen.
