i forgot the screen time password and cant change it because everytime i try to change it with my apple id and password i just get sent back to the start, is this a bug or whats going on. i have tried changing everything even the password to my apple id. I even updated the systemthing to the newesr ios.

These are the minimum requirements to reset the ScreenTime passcode:
If you meet ALL above requirements, these are the instructions:--> If you forgot your Screen Time passcode – Apple Support
Shouldn't be this case, you need to erase that device following these instructions (even if related to the passcode to lock/unlock device's screen):--> If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
The bad news is that you cannot restore data from a backup, since the ScreenTime passcode would come back in.

how safe is reseting screentime password with a thirdparty tool, just incase the steps u mentioned dont work.
No idea about that, since I never used any 3rd parties apps/tools to solve that problem, sorry.
I can neither judge nor give you suggestions based on experience.
i cant change passord for my screentime, it just adds to the amount of times i have tried to change it
