How to stop my iMac screen from zooming in?

MacOS 13.2.1: My desktop suddenly zooms, how do I recover, where is the control to prevent in the future?

Open System Settings > Mouse and disable "Smart Zoom". Or, System Settings > Accessibility > Zoom. Disable "Use scroll gesture…".
