I have an iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 16.3.1 connected to a monitor using an HDMI cable and the DAV Adapter. It won't work at all.
Using the same DAV adapter on my wife's iPhone 8 with the same monitor and cable, I get video just fine.
Is this a known bug? If so when will it be fixed? Or is it a hardware problem with my iPhone 13 Pro?

I finally got it to work. See my new comment with instructions.
iOS 16.4 fixed it for me.
The adapter did not work under 16.3.x for me, but somehow it works now.

I went to the Genius Bar and it worked
I took a day off of work, drove an hour and a half to the nearest Apple Store for this same issue, but they couldn’t resolve it. What did they do to correct it for you?
I am on 16.6.1 on iphone 13 and hdmi doesn’t work any more. It does on my wife’s iphone 10?
This reply was helpful but it would be even more helpful if it mentioned the iOS version that was active at the time and whether recent updates to say iOS 17.2.1 had changed anything.
It is definitely a bug in 17.4 as once i updated to 17.5 it worked again.
