My MacBook 2017 doesn't accept Airdrop photos from my iPhone 12. I followed the suggestions in this page. I can see my iPhone is waiting for my MacBook to accept the photo, but nothing appears on the Mac. This is new after the update to Monterey 12. Help please.

I don't have the latest IOS version on my iPhone. I'm in Mongolia & don't want to have problems with the update. The reboot helped Airdrop from computer to phone, but not the other way. Thanks for your help.
Is your iPhone running the latest version of iOS?
Try rebooting both the iPhone and the computer. This has always resolved my Air Drop issues.
Completely understandable as I am very careful when I install iOS updates on my phone, but it not being up to date is very likely the reason Air Drop is not working.
