We'd like to share some guidance to help you with your iPod. Typically this would refer to service needed for the iPod classic, which may indicate a hardware failure. We would recommend starting with the guidance in Learn how to force restart your iPod. If you get back to the same error screen, put iPod into Disk Mode
How to put your iPod into disk mode - Apple Support
If it goes into Disk Mode, connect to computer running iTunes. iTunes should prompt you to do a Restore, with a message about "recovery." If that's OK (because all songs on iPod are in your iTunes library), do the Restore. See if iPod is working properly after the Restore.
If iPod does not go into Disk Mode, or the Restore fails, iPod probably has a hardware problem, and contacting Apple Support would be the next best step.
