Pinging
My Macbook Air (Monterey Air version 12.6) continually pings. It's maddening. I have silenced notifications on every single app. Please help!!

Do you still hear it if you mute the audio?
Is this the same "ding" or "ping" you hear when connecting the charger? It may be the laptop sensing the USB-C charger being connected or reconnected which indicates a hardware issue of some sort. Try connecting the charger to another USB-C port especially on the other side of the laptop if possible. Unless the issue is with the charger or charging cable, you will need to have the laptop repaired assuming the "ping" is power related.
You can have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop (also take the charger & charging cable) to see what they find.
