Audible showing on lockscreen - why?

iPhone 14 ios 16.3.1

This change has only happened recently and is driving me mad! I didn't go to all the trouble of choosing a photo for my lockscreen only to have it replaced by a random book cover!

I've seen another (now dormant) thread that suggests going into Settings/[app] in this case Audible/then deselecting "show on lock screen", but I don't have that option for Audible.

So far I've checked the above in the iPhone settings, all the various settings within the setting in the Audible app and a Google search (which led me here).

Any more ideas?!

I found the solution. I was so frustrated with this as well for a week before I accidentally tapped the book cover and it minimized to how it used to be in the play controls!! You can tap it again inside the play controls and it will make it large again. Seems to hold your last selection so it won’t default back to the large album or book cover automatically. Hope this helps
