My left AirPod is making a weird noise when I put it on transparency mode or noise, canceling the only way to fix it for a l couple of days is to leave the AirPod out and let die completely

this didn’t work for me. my right airpod has the same issue. noise cancellation or transparency there’s this loud static noise that won’t go away. i’ve tried everything on the internet. and i’m seriously not trying to pay to get them serviced by apple since they are no longer covered by apple care.
