It will only work on a website which has ApplePay built-in AND when you’re browsing from a device with your AppleCash card in your wallet.
It’s typically a black box “Buy with ApplePay” which shows up on the same screen where you can “select payment method” (e.g. Credit Card, PayPal, GooglePay, etc.)
