Did I call emergency services on my iPhone?

I accidentally held down the volume button and the side button at the same time. I didn’t realise until it started to vibrate. I let go as soon as it vibrated .No alert sound though. Does this mean my call connected to emergency services ?? 😱

Hello ~ From the article you came from…

  1. Drag the Emergency Call slider to call emergency services. If you continue to hold down the side button and volume button, instead of dragging the slider, a countdown begins and an alert sounds. If you release the buttons after the countdown, your iPhone automatically calls emergency services.

You should know soon enough.
