Disabling wireless screen sharing to ipad

Hi,

Is there a way to force continuity screen sharing over usb-c only? I often forget to disconnect the iPad via the control panel and just unplug the cable instead. iPad stays connected wirelessly which drains the battery.

Hey there bmika1,

Upon researching your question, we were able to find the article that discusses the Sidecar display feature, and it shows that the only reason you'd want to plug it in is to keep your iPad charged while using this feature: Use an iPad as a second display for a Mac

The same link also lists available options for Sidecar, but the option you're asking about isn't available. If you'd like to submit feedback for Apple to consider, you can use this second link: Product Feedback

Cheers!
