Broken glass on my iPad Pro 10.5 inches.
Any suggestions as to where I can trade this in toward a new or refurbished iPad fixing the glass would be way too expensive. Thank you, Marley.

Apple’s trade-in programme requires the eligible devices to be working and undamaged - although minor cosmetic marks will often be accepted.
With a broken screen, Apple will not entertain accepting your iPad for trade-in until it has been repaired. The cost of screen repair will certainly exceed any potential trade-in value.
While your iPad will not be accepted a trade-in against the cost of a new device, Apple will still accept your broken iPad for recycling - at no cost to you.

Apple don’t supply genuine parts outside of its own network of Apple Authorised Service Providers (AASPs) - nor does it release, to independent repairs, the special software that is required to reset/integrate key components during repair.
By example, a replaced screen requires that the TouchID sensor, a security component, must be reset during the repair process. If repair is attempted by an independent repairer, the iPad will likely be returned with a non-functional TouchID sensor. Apple will decline future service for devices that have received an unauthorised repair - and this will automatically disqualify a device for trade-in.
In summary, you’ll either need to (a) accept an official repair, (b) take your chances with an unauthorised repair, or (c) retire the iPad being an uneconomic repair.
Thank you so much I wrote this message this morning and I saw that no one replied but then I realized that I had to sign into the Apple app first.🤦♀️ Marley
Ok; Many thanks for your response. Is Apple the only place that repairs broken screens that you know of?
