Shuffle Function on IPOD
What is the best way to use shuffle so you hear more of your songs on IPOD. We tend to hear the same ones over and over and not our entire playlist.
iPod Classic
Create a smart playlist includes a rule such as Last played is not in the last X days and is limited to Y songs. As you play songs they will stop being eligible for the list and when the list updates new content will cycle into the list. The exact values that work best for you might depend on the size of your library, how many songs you typically listen to in a day, whether the iPod will automatically recalculate the playlist or, for example, only does so when it syncs or restarts. (I can't remember how well my classic did this bit.)
