Shuffle songs option on playlist

From what I can tell, Shuffle is on the Settings menu. Also on the Settings menu is a Main Menu option, where you can add Shuffle to the main menu. It is there, somewhere.

Have a look at this YouTube video (if Apple allow it to stay in the post): Apple 3rd gen iPod review. Go to about 5 minutes 45 seconds onwards for a bit about the Shuffle option.

I owned an iPod Classic, but it's so long since I last looked at its menus that I struggle to remember the exact layout. It should come as no surprise therefore that I don't know either the 3rd or 4th generation nano well enough to tell you any more, so there's little more I can do except offer the following suggestions:

• • wait and see whether anyone else here can tell you specifically how to find the shuffle option (and I'm sure it's there)
  • you can spend time looking on the iPod yourself for the shuffle option. All iPods have been designed so that the user (that's you) should not need an instruction manual and need only minor help from others in order to use it

I would expect so. Are you asking because you have a nano, but cannot find the option?
