Can I use iPhone 13 accelerometer data/app to warn and/or display g-force?

I've been using State Farm's Drive Safe & Save program to reduce premium cost. Lately it looks like I've been accelerating/speeding and decelerating/braking to much. They say they use both the "beacon" and the iPhone's accelerometer to determine acceleration/deceleration. I'm wondering if there is an app that would display this g-force and even better give some settable warning to display or sound to use to condition me better to stay in acceptable bounds? Thank you.

I got back from State Farm that their beacon does not contain the accelerometer but the iPhone 13 does. Is there any way of testing or adjusting the accuracy of the iPhone's accelerometer? Thanks.

P.S.: Is there any knowledge of the iPhone accelerometer's accuracy? Can it fail or become inaccurate?

Very interesting... but only opens up more research. If one accidentally drops the phone can stress of this sort on the accelerometer affect its future accuracy? It didn't sound in the article like the accelerometer is fully solid state.

I don't feel much like pursuing this further. Thank you for sharing the article.
