Hyperlink in Mac Pages

I copy a web page from a website and then paste it into a Mac pages doc

Then when I click on the link I get a window to either Edit or Open the Link.

If I click on Open the Link I go to the web page

I want to be able to click on the link in pages and have the webpage open immediately (this is what happens in Word)

Inserting a hyperlink on more than one line in pages mac Hi all, I hope you can help me. I am creating a bibliography for a course and it has to be tidy. So I inserted the hyperlinks on where I wanted them to be. There's no problem with the hyperlinks on the first line. The problem is that the underlined text (on the right)is too long and broken up into a paragraph because of the small space. I don't know how to convert the paragraph into a hyperlink. It will only select one line. Is it possible to do a whole paragraph into a hyperlink please? There must be a simpler way of doing it as Ive quite a long bibliography and it's taking up my time trying to figure it out. Thank you in advance. Claire

Like in MS-Word, does Pages have the option to hyperlink Table of Contents to their respective contents in a document? I need to link each item on a Table of Contents to their respective titles/headings in the document. In MS Word there is an option to Hyperlink text to its corresponding place in the same document or outside a document like a web link. Does Mac Pages have that option?

Unable to edit a webpage link in Numbers on a Mac I want to edit a webpage link that I created in a cell in Numbers on an iMac. After creation the link appears to work fine. Now I want to edit it (change its Display text, say). The Edit Link menu item is supposed to appear in the context menu that shows when I right click on the link's Display text within the Numbers cell. When I right click on the cell, not the Display text, I get a context menu that does not show an Edit Link item. I have tried different ways of selecting the Display text but all these attempts only activate/operate the link (go to the webpage). I am unable to place the insertion point in the Display text as a first step in selecting the text. How can I edit the link if I cannot select its Display text?

That is the way Pages works. Different application, different UX.
