Apple Maps in Ventura

I am trying to change Kilometres to miles in maps on my iMac with ventura 13.2 and all the suggestions keep saying go to Settings and click on directions......I havnt got directions as an option on my screen?

iMac (M1, 2021)

It's not in Maps > Settings. It's in System Settings > General > Language & Region. Sorry about that.

I stand to be corrected on this one - which is OK

It appears to be associated with and refer to image below from Canada where Metric Measurements are used

Not sure where you are finding those suggestions but you are correct. There is no "directions" setting.

Where are you located? In Monterey and previous versions there was an actual setting you could change which is no longer in Ventura. I'm thinking it might be tied into your location.

System Setting and in search box Top Left " Region "

The the Pop down search will bring up " Language " >> " Numbers date and Time Format "

Click on that and the Right Panel in above image should appear

This is what works me about Apple, when some one gives me a screen to look at I can very rarely find it as is the case today. I have no Region in the top left all I have is General - Route planner - Ratings & Photos ?
